Ladies outreach event 婦人会の伝道集会

5月21日火曜日に婦人会の伝道集会「バラを見る会」が開かれ、
ティムは手品とメッセージをしました。

On the 21st of May, the Ladies of the church held an outreach meeting named "come look at roses".
Tim gave a gospel message and performed some sleight of hand.

 

 

平塚市にある大きな公園で行われたこの会には約30名が集まり、

ノンクリスチャンの方も4名来てくださいました。

どうぞこの方々のため、また教会の婦人たちが、

友人たちに信仰を伝えることができるようにお祈りください。

 

The event was held in a big park in Hiratsuka, and we had 30 or so people.

Out of the 30, there were 4 who were non Christians.

Please pray for them, and for their Christian friends who brought them to the event.

Please also pray for the ladies, that they might be encouraged to share their faith to more friends.

Highschool Students and Young Adults 高校生と青年会

私たちの教会の高校生、青年たちはとても元気です。
みなさんのお祈りを感謝しています。

We are thankful for all of your prayers for the youth and young adults!
They are few in number but very energetic.

現在は毎週土曜日に青年会、
日曜日には高校生と青年会の合同の会を持っています。

Currently  we have a Young adults bible study group every Saturday, and a joint meeting for the youth and young adults every Sunday.

土曜日の青年会では共に学び、共に祈る時を持っています。
また、一緒に食事をしたり、遊んだりすることもあります。
先週は、卓球などをして楽しみました。

On Saturday, we study the bible, then pray together. we also go out for some fun at times.
Last Thursday, we went out and played table tennis.

 

 

また、青年会の後には一緒に食事を作りました。

We also have dinner together after the bible study sometimes. (here they are in the church kitchen cooking)

 

 

 

できあがったのは、カツトマトチーズカレー。

食事をしながらの交わりの時は、話もはずみます。

Dinner time deepens our fellowship, a time to share what's going on in our lives.

 

 

そして、先週の日曜日はティムと青年会長の順一くんのお誕生日会。

料理学校に通っている政一くんが、

こんなにおいしそうないちごチョコレートケーキを作ってくれました。

Last Sunday, there was a surprise birthday party for Tim and for Jyunichi, one of the young adults.
Seiichi who is currently studying cooking, made this chocolate and strawberry cake.

とても嬉しそうな誕生日ボーイズです。

日曜日の高校生と青年の会には、
3人のノンクリスチャンの高校生が教会に来ています。
彼らがイエス様を救い主と受け入れるよう、お祈りをお願いいたします。

There are three non christian high school students who come to the youth meeting on Sundays.
Please pray that they might come to know Jesus as their saviour.

Update of the past three months 年末年始の報告

I am very sorry for not updating the blog for about 3 months.
I will make a report of what we have been doing during this period.

みなさま、こんにちは。愛です。
前回の投稿から時間が空いてしまい、申し訳ありませんでした。
ここ3か月の間の出来事をご報告します。

First of all, we would like to say thank you for your prayers for Tim's health.
We went to the hospital last week, and the doctor finally said everything is all right.

まず、お祈りいただいていたティムの貧血につきましては、
すべての検査が終了し、ひとまず異常なしということになりました。
お祈り、本当にありがとうございました。

Last Christmas, a women and three kids got baptised at our church.
They rejoiced so much, and so did all the church members!
Glory to God!

昨年のクリスマスには、教会に4名の受洗者が与えられたことを感謝します。
1人の女性と、3人の小学生の子どもたちです。
受洗したひとりひとりもとても喜びに溢れ、
またその場にいた私たちにとっても祝福された洗礼式となりました。

For Christmas, the kids decolated the Cristmas tree in the hall.
教会には、大きなクリスマスツリーが子どもたちの手によって飾られました。





 

We had a Chrsitmas party with skits, worship songs and handbell performance.

クリスマス祝会では大人から子供まで、劇や賛美、ハンドベル演奏などを行って、

みんなでクリスマスをお祝いしました。

 

 

We celeblated the coming of age(20) of tree people in the begining of January.

As a church we prayed for their blessing and continual growth in their walk.

1月に入ると、新しく成人（20歳）になった人の祝福式がありました。

今年は男の子1名、女の子2名が参加し、これからの祝福をみんなでお祈りしました。

 



 

There was also a dedication service of a new born girl.

as a church we prayed for her growth to be filled with His blessing.
また、新しく生まれた赤ちゃんの祝福式も行いました。

とてもかわいらしい女の子で、みんなで喜び、

彼女の人生が祝福されるよう、みんなでお祈りしました。



 

 

Also, we had a few days off in the begining of January, and went to Shigaraki, where Tim's parents Stephen and Yuki are. My parents and younger sister and husband also joined, so it was like a family reunion. we tried out pottery, as Shigaraki is well known for it, and also had time to sing together and have fellowship. please continue to pray for the Williams family through out this year!
また、私たちは年明けにお休みをいただき、
信楽キリスト教会にて、ティムの両親と私の両親、妹夫婦と時間を過ごすことができました。
信楽は陶芸の町として知られているので、
陶芸をしたり、教会で賛美をしたりなど、共に良い時間を過ごすことができ、感謝でした。

今年もまたウィリアムズ家のために、お祈りをよろしくお願いします。

The criminal of the murder case which happened in our city, Hiratsuka, was arrested 2 days ago. Thank you very much for your prayers. The criminal caused by the woman in her 50's who lived very near from our church. Please keep continue to pray for the safety for this area.

一昨日、平塚市で起こった殺人事件の犯人が逮捕されました。
皆様、お祈りを感謝いたします。犯人は平塚福音キリスト教会から、すぐそばに住んでいた50代の女性でした。引き続き、この地域の安全ためにお祈りください。

Our church will have the concert of MIKHAIL and Mihoko KANDINSKY who plays piano and violin on 12th Novenber. We have run off many pamphlets, and we are divided into a team for posting it. Tim and I had carried out to this posting the day before yesterday.

It was very first experience for me.

さて、11月12日（土）にミヒャエルカンディンスキーさん＆美帆子・カンディンスカヤさんの、
ピアノとバイオリンのコンサートが予定されており、教会では、たくさんのちらしが作成されました。そして、チームに分かれて、地域にちらしをポスティングに行きます。一昨日の夜、ティムとふたりで、早速このポスティングに行ってきました。私にとって、初めのポスティング。

Before starting, we prayed in the street for many people will come to this concert, and hear the Gospel in this opportunity.

始める前に、ひとりでも多くの方がこのコンサートに来られるように、

このちらしに、ひとりでも多くの方が心を留めてくださるよう、

ティムとふたりで道端で祈り、そして、1枚1枚祈りとともにポスティングします。

One month anniversary !

I went back to tidy room with the sound of Nora Jones from my work 2 days ago, my chef was very busy to cook.

おととい、私が仕事から帰ると、部屋がきれいに片づけられ、ノラ・ジョーンズの曲が流れ、シェフがなにやらせっせと料理に励んでおりました。

The starter was this! Sermon, crab and avocado mousse.

そして、出てきた前菜がこちら！サーモンとクラブ、アボガドのトワレです。

My chef, Tim, was not good at cook before marriage, but now he cooks for me.

結婚前は、料理がほとんどできなかった、マイシェフこと、ティム。仕事で遅く帰ってくる私に代わって、夕ご飯を作ってくれています。

The main dish was grilled pork and vegetables with Gravy sauce, and we had desert and coffee as well.

メイン料理はグリルドポークに茹で野菜。デザートとコーヒーまでつきました。

The day was our one month anniversary.

おとといは結婚1ヶ月記念日。

TIm's English club for children

Tim had a plan to start the English club for children at church last week, but no one came to this, because there was the murder at this area.

先週、ティム主催の教会での子供英会話クラブが予定されていましたが、

残念ながら、子供たちはひとりも来ることができませんでした。

なぜなら、私たちの街でばらばら死体遺棄事件があったからです。

Tim waited children distributing these pamphlets in front of the school in that morning,

but teachers and parents told them to go back home with friends as soon as finishing the school,

because the murderer has not still been arrested.

朝、学校の校門前でこのようなチラシを配って、子供たちを待っていたティムですが、

その日は集団登下校が行われたようで、まだ犯人が捕まっていない今、

子供たちは放課後、外に出て遊ぶことができません。

Please pray that the murder case will be resolute as soon as possible,

and God bless Tim's English club for his glory from now.

事件が一日も早く解決されるよう、またこの子供英会話クラブが今後祝福されていくよう、

ぜひお祈りください。

Going to the park

As it was a bank holiday on last Monday in Japan,
our church members planned to go to the park at Sagamihara.

祝日だった月曜日。
教会の懇親会で相模原公園に行ってきました。

The park has a lots of trees, flowers and the water fountain.
It was sunny and warm day, and we could spend the time peacefully. 

晴れていて、温かく、緑も花も噴水もある公園でのんびりと過ごします。

 

We do not have much time to talk with them in every Sunday at church,
but we had a nice time together on this day.

普段教会にいても、なかなかゆっくり話すことができなかった方々と、
一緒に時間を過ごし、交わることができました。

Tim preached a sermon about this verse,

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.

There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world.

Psalm19 1-4

ティムは、この箇所から、短いメッセージをさせていただきました。

天は神の栄光を語り告げ、大空は御手のわざを告げ知らせる。

昼は昼へ、話を伝え、夜は夜へ、知識を示す。
話もなく、ことばもなく、その声も聞かれない。

しかし、その呼び声は全地に響き渡り、そのことばは、地の果てまで届いた。

詩篇１９：１-４

It was the good day to know him again in beautiful nature.

自然の中で、またあの人を想う、良い1日です。

Dinner at home !

As Tim mentioned about this, it takes one and forty minutes from my home to the office, so Tim cooks
every dinner for me. The very first dinner at this home was Chinese stir-fried vegetables, hijiki seaweeds, rice and Mango pudding for dessert. The dinner of second day was Aubergine and green pepper bake, stuffed with meat, veg' topped with cheeses, together with potato and aspragas. For dessert, we had ice-cream. 

家から私の職場まで1時間40分ほどかかるため、夕ご飯は毎日ティムが作ってくれています。第1日目の食事は、中華炒め、ひじき、ごはん、デザートはマンゴープリン。第2日目の食事はピーマン＆ナスのチーズ、野菜、肉詰め、アスパラとじゃかいものサラダ、ごはんに、デザートはアイスクリームでした。
 

In addition, there was a handwritten menu for a week putted on refrigerator. I appreciate my kind husband.
 
そして、冷蔵庫には手書きの一週間の献立が貼ってありました。優しいだんなさんに感謝です。

 
I still do not know many things about new life, but would like to get used to know my new environment little by little with God and Tim.
 
新しい生活は分からないことが多いですが、神様とティムとともに、ここでの暮らしに少しずつ慣れていきたいと思います。

Our new life is starting !

We are back safely from our honeymoon, and our new life in Hiratsuka is starting ! Many stuff are still scattered, but all we need is prepared. Thank you God, our family and friends.

新婚旅行から戻って。いよいよ私たちの新しい生活が始まりました。新しい家では、まだ色々なものがごった返していますが、必要なものはすべて与えられています。神様とみなさまに本当に感謝。

Our new home is just 10 minutes away by walk from the sea. It has 2 rooms, living, kitchen and small garden, and it's only 54,000yen ( £400) per month.

 新しい家は、私たちの住んでいる町、平塚市で海まで10分の場所。小さな庭もついていて、2DKで月54,000円という安さです。

In addition, almost everything in the house was given by many people. We didn't buy anything. Even the refrigerator, washing machine, microwave, toaster, dishes, bookshelf, table and chair was given. We are so moved about this.

 また、家の中のほぼすべての家具は色々な方たちからいただいたもの。
冷蔵庫も洗濯機も、電子レンジもトースターも、食器も本棚も机、私たちが買ったものは何ひとつありません。このことは本当に私たちの胸を打つのです。

We are starting our new life in this small and quiet room without TV nor radio, bravely with a thankful heart.

テレビもラジオもない静かなこの小さな部屋で、私たちの生活を元気にスタートさせましょう。

The last service at Tokyo Baptist Church

As I will move to Hiratsuka church where Tim is working after the marriage, I attended the last service at my home church which is Tokyo Baptist Church yesterday.

結婚後はティムが働く教会へ移るため、

昨日は私の通う東京バプテスト教会での最後の礼拝でした。

Tokyo Baptist Church had wonderful choir and praise band team. They sing a praise song and play the music 5 times in a weekend service.

東京バプテスト教会はすばらしいクワイヤーとプレイズバンドチームがいます。

彼らは毎週5回ある礼拝すべてで賛美を担当しています。

More than 100 people have got the baptism in a year at this church, and yesterday 2 people which are American and Japanese were baptized. How wonderful! Praise the Lord !

また、東京バプテスト教会では年間100名以上の受洗者が起こされ、今日もアメリカ人と日本人が1人ずつ洗礼を受けました。

I had spent 2 years in this church. I could meet many good friends and have many wonderful experiences.

この教会で過ごした2年間は本当にすばらしい日々でした。

My ministry and small group members got the farewell party for me. Off course I am so happy for the marriage, but I feel sad for saying good bye to friends of my church..

 昨日、ミニストリーチームとスモールグループメンバーが送別会を開いてくれました。

結婚は嬉しいことですが、良い時間をたくさん過ごしてきた家族のような友人と別れるのは、とても寂しいです。

However as wherever and whenever we are, God is with us, I would like to start my new life with hope.

でも、どこにいても、いつでも、そこに主がともにいてくださることを信じ、

新しい生活をスタートさせたいと思います。
