This week

Greetings from Hiratsuka!

Yesterday we had a few of the youth at our home for dinner, with hopes to deepen our friendship and for mutual encouragement.
We believe they will one day become key members of the church, and hope to see them grow in spirit, equipped for the tasks ahead.
Please do pray for them, as they organise their first ever outreach event on 21st of July and as they lead bible studies at the youth events, that they might find their talents and use them for His glory.
Their names from left to right are, Seiichi, Jyunichi and Mieko.

The ladies outreach event at a nearby rose garden which was held last tuesday was well attended with over fourth ladies. Yet for many of the ladies, the concept of evangelism is still alien to them. Though very few invited their friends, I thank the Lord for the 5 non-christian ladies who came. Please pray that the gospel that was sown might take route in their hearts and that they might return to another event, and that the ladies in the church might be envisioned to share the gospel to their friends and family.

Also please pray for our children's worker, Ms Kobayashi, who's father past away yesterday. He had been battling illness for quite a while, but his passing was quite unexpected.
We had been praying for his salvation for a while, and I am glad to inform you he accepted Christ as his saviour two days ago. Ms Kobayashi's mother is yet to be saved.
Please pray for healing and salvation in the family.
Thank you for your support in prayer!
In Him
Tim and Ai
