Hi everyone!
We are in the midst of “Tsuyu” the rainy season here in Hiratsuka.
I guess it’s going to be humid all the way till winter now!
We have less than two weeks until the BBQ.
Each youth member took 5 of these leaflets each, to pass on to their friends as they invite them.
Please pray that the youth and young adults might find the courage and the wisdom as they share their faith and invite friends.
Please also pray for the day. For good weather, good atmosphere, meaningful dialogues, and souls challenged and saved.
On the 15th, that’s the day after the BBQ we have a Pastor who used to be a Buddhist priest come to share his testimony and the difference between Christianity and Buddhism.
Please pray that the church members might be able to invite friends and family, and that many new comers might come to the event.
Then from the 22nd, we will be doing a navigators introduction course to Christianity at the youth meeting for 5 weeks.
Please pray that the youth and young adults who come to the BBQ might get connected to this meeting through the course. (This will be held instead of the CE course.)
we are also doing the CE course with Ai's parents.
Currently, Ai's mother thinks Jesus might be a messenger from God, and Ai's father believes that the Bible is inaccurate. We ask you to pray that their hearts might be softened and that the Holy Spirit might work in them as they continue to read Marks gospel.

So, that’s what is coming up next. And here is what we have been up to!
We had a team from Hi-b.a.(High School Born Againers) come and stay at the church for a week.
The team consisted of international High school students and short term missionaries.
They had outreach events planned all around the area, and joined us for the youth meeting on Sunday.
It was a great encouragement to have fellowship with them, and to see their ministry.
I have been busy trying to get a driving license, which I will hopefully get within next week.
The written test will be next week, while the driving test will be on Friday.
Ai has been busy with her work as usual, and is anxious about leaving her job in September.
Please pray that she might clearly know what the Lord has planned for her, as she seeks guidance.
Regular ministry continues, please remember me as I prepare sermons for prayer meetings and Sunday evening meetings.
Thank you for all your support
In Him
Tim and Ai
